4iiii innovations
Our co-founders have a remarkable history of innovation in sports technology. It all began in 1999 with a small Canadian company named Dynastream where they developed a groundbreaking technology known as ANT+. Collaborating with brands like Nike, they helped create the speed and distance monitor and the Nike foot pod. ANT+ soon became the standard communication protocol for wireless fitness devices, leading to Dynastream's acquisition by Garmin in 2006.
TECHNOLOGY
Our patented 3D strain gauge technology measures power by detecting the lateral bend, pull, and twist of your crank. This ensures accurate power measurement throughout your ride, regardless of changes in your pedal stroke due to different riding positions or fatigue. To maintain this accuracy, we use active temperature compensation, which continually adjusts to temperature changes throughout your ride to ensure consistent power numbers.
All of our power meters are ANT+ and Bluetooth (BLE) compatible meaning that you can receive from your 4iiii power meter on your preferred ANT+ device or connect it to your devices to use your power meter over BLE with your favorite indoor training app. This means that the power numbers that you see on Zwift or TrainerRoad will be consistent with the numbers that you see outside.
Weighing at only 9 grams for a left sided crank or 29 grams for a dual system, 4iii makes the lightest power meters on the market. And with an IPX7 waterproof rating you can be assured that your power meter can handle the toughest conditions.
Third-party tested to +/- 1% accuracy, all 4iiii power meters come with our patented 3D strain gauge technology and an industry leading 3 year warranty.
